Hingham Playing Field Association
Hingham Sports Hall, the playing fields and the Hardingham Road Playspace are run by Hingham Playing Field Association, a registered charity. The Sports Hall is a modern building offering facilities for badminton (three courts), short mat bowls and a range of other activities.

Outside there is a floodlit multi-purpose games area, an award winning playground and extensive playing fields with cricket pitch and two football pitches. There is also a Skate Park on the playing field, which is the responsibilty of HinghamTown Council.

These facilities provide a base for local sports clubs but are also available to the local community for hire. Bookings may be made by contacting Pat Dore on 01953 850323.

There is also a bar and comfortable socail area, for use by members of the Hingham Sports and Social Club, membership costs £6pa.

Hingham and district gardening club
We are a friendly gardening club, not experts, just enthusiasts. We meet in the Lincoln Hall on the second Tuesday of every month to listen to a variety of speakers who often come with some amazing slides and pictures. Some speakers bring plants or do demonstrations and we always supply a cup of tea and a biscuit. Why not come and joint us - a big garden is not something you have to have, you could grow all your plants in pots. All you need is to be interested.
